  • Instructions for assembling equipment to administer nebulized medication (albuterol and ipratropium bromide) via a BVM, endotracheal tube, King LT-D airway, or CPAP
  • The first quarter CE covered the Basic Approach to the Pediatric Patient, the Smart Bag and the Arterial Catheter Sheath. There was also a skills verification portion covering spinal immobilization of the pediatric patient as well as basic airway techniques of the pediatric patient.

  • During this CE Dr. Griswell discussed some of the problems that have been identified during our quality assurance processes, covered new protocols being implemented January 1, 2009 and provided an airway update.
  • This Quarter Dr. Griswell presented a basic history of research, the ethics involved in research, and how ethics applies to our daily lives and work.
  • This is the presentation and learning material from the 2007 4th Quarter CE. This CE covered the pathophysiology and CHF and COPD, and provided an introduction to the concepts of CPAP. It also covered the use of the Boussignac CPAP device. This device will be implemented in the MedStar System January 1st of 2008.
